The kpi.com Dashboard Tool is the best way to view reports in charts, tables and graphs. It depicts the productivity of an employee, project manager and other members. In kpi.com there are 8 panels in the Dashboard Module that you can use:
- Project Management
- Performance Appraisals
- Staff Availability
- Finance Dashboard
- CRM Dashboard
- Custom Reports
- Reporting System
Overall Panel View
The Overall panel is set as default page once you visit Dashboards section. On this page, you can view overall results. You need to select the department name from the dropdown list, tick the checkboxes under years and month and click on the View Result function. The results will be shown in the following charts:
- Project Involvement
- Projects Progress Dashboard
- Statutory Leave Days
- Available Employees
- Appraisals Rates Comparison
- Money balance
- Quotes Summary
View PM Overall Summary
Go to the Dashboards section, open the Project Management panel where the Overall Summary page will be shown. You will see three charts viewing the progress, cost and schedule of projects in table and bar charts.
View Project Summary
You need to go to the Dashboards section, open the PM panel and click on the Project Summary feature. To view the project related results, you should choose the project name, tick the checkboxes of years and month. Now, you can see the detailed information on selected project:
- Projects Progress Dashboard. This table views the name of project manager; members involved in the current project, number of remaining tasks & issues, the percentage of completion, and start & end date.
- Resource Utilization Dashboard. There are two types of such dashboard: overall and by employee. The former one views hours of all employees` availability, assigned and timesheet information in bar chart. The latter one shows hours of availability of a specific employee.
- Project Cost Dashboard. You can view the planned/actual costs/revenue of a project.
- Project Schedule Dashboard. This shows the period of planned and actual project schedule.
- Employee Tasks and Issues. The status and the total number of tasks/issues will be seen in this table
- View Department Summary
The Department Summary feature is located under the Project Management panel of the Dashboards module. Once you open this page, you need to fill in a similar form as we saw in the Project Summary section. Department related information will be displayed in tables and bar charts.
View Employee Summary
To view the summary of a specific employee, you need choose the employee name from the dropdown list, tick on checkboxes and click on the View Result button. You will see the employee details, entered timesheet of that employee, project involvement, employee tasks & issues, and leave requests.
View Performance Appraisals Dashboard
This is the third panel in the Dashboards module. You need to select department name and specific period and click on the View Result function. There will be two charts: Appraisals Rates Comparison (by Employee) and Employee Appraisals. If there is no information, you (as a project manager) should initiate appraisals in the HRMS module.
View Staff Availability
The Staff Availability section is located in the Dashboards module of kpi.com. To view the results of staff availability, you need to fill in the necessary fields in the form. You can see the pie chart showing the workdays utilization and leaves by status; leave request table, company holidays, and table of the most and least available employee.
The information in the Finance Dashboard is taken from the Accounting & Finance module. Fill in the necessary checkboxes of the form and click on the View Result button. You can see the bar chart of money coming in and going out, table of quotes summary, top 5 customers by balance, comparison report in a pie chart, and the expense report in a bar chart.
View CRM Dashboard
The CRM Dashboard is the 6th panel in the Dashboards section where you can view your leads summary, opportunities, and accounts.
You can view two types of bar charts: leads by source and status under Leads Summary.
View Custom Reports
Go to the Dashboards module and there you will find the Custom Reports panel. Once you open the page, you will see 5 kinds of reports on your left pane:
- Timesheet Report
- Timesheet Stacked Report
- Staff Availability Report
- Staff In/Out Report
- Performance Appraisals
View Result of Timesheet Report
To view the results of the timesheet report, you need to select the report date, tick the checkboxes of report columns and hours spent, choose role, department, project, employee, and client to view the report. You can also export the result form as Excel and PDF version.
View Timesheet Stacked Report
The form will appear once you open the Timesheet Stacked Report page. You need to select the report date and filter the rest of fields. You can also export the result form as Excel version.
View Staff Availability Report
To view the Staff Availability Report, you need to select the report date and filter the rest of fields and customize your timesheet report. Further, select the necessary checkboxes to be added to your custom report.
View Staff In/Out Report
The result for staff in/out report is viewed once you have completed the form. Select the report date, tick the necessary checkboxes to be added to your customer report, choose your role, employee, and department and click on the View Result button to finish your work. You can also export the completed form as Excel and PDF versions.
View Performance Appraisals
To view the Performance Appraisals Report, you need to enter the period of report, select appraisal type, choose necessary checkboxes to be added to the report, choose your own role, employee, and department. The report can be grouped by employee, department or review date.
View Reporting Feature
The Reporting System is the last feature in the Dashboards module. This lets you view dashboards using the dropdown which appears on your screen (Choose Dashboard). You can also export the results to PDF version.
Add a Dashboard
The Add New Dashboard function is located in the Dashboards section of the Reporting System feature. A box will appear where you need to enter the name of the dashboard, select number of columns, provide center column title and click on the Save button.
Add a Dashlet
The Dashlets feature is located in the Reporting System panel where you can add a new dashlet by clicking on Add New Dashlet. Then select the dashboard and report from the dropdown which appears and tick on the necessary check boxes.
Add New Download Link
A new download link can be added through the Dashboard Download Link section. Write the download link name in the field, choose category, dashboard and report from the dropdown in which appears in the box.
